At A1 Dev. Corp. (“we,” “our,” or “us”), we are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how your information is collected, used, and safeguarded when you use our mobile application, SwiftSpend Tracker (the “App”).

1. Our Privacy-First Philosophy

SwiftSpend is designed as a Local-First utility. This means that, by default, your financial data, expense records, and receipt images are stored exclusively on your device and are not transmitted to our servers or any third-party cloud providers unless you explicitly initiate a manual backup or export.

2. Information Collection and Use

A. Personal Data

We do not require you to create an account, provide your name, email address, or any personal identification to use SwiftSpend.

B. Financial and Transactional Data

All transactional data (amounts, categories, notes) you enter is stored in a private local database on your device. We do not have access to this data.

C. Media and Files

If you use the receipt attachment feature, the App saves copies of these images in its private internal storage. These files are not accessible by other apps on your device.

3. Device Permissions

To provide its core utility, SwiftSpend requests the following permissions:

  • Camera: Used solely to capture images of receipts for your records.
  • Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS): Used to send you “Daily Nudge” reminders to log your expenses.
  • Biometrics/Fingerprint: Used locally to secure the App via App Lock. We do not store or see your biometric data; the App uses the system-level authentication result.
  • Storage Access: Used specifically for the “Export/Import” feature to save or load your backup ZIP files to a location of your choice.

4. Data Storage and Security

  • Local Storage: Your data is stored using industry-standard local storage methods provided by the Android OS.
  • No Automated Cloud Sync: SwiftSpend does not automatically sync your data to the cloud. You are responsible for managing your backups using the built-in “Export as ZIP” feature.
  • Encryption: We recommend using the integrated “App Lock” feature to add a layer of biometric security to your local data.

5. Third-Party Services

SwiftSpend may use standard system libraries or frameworks provided by Google and the Android OS. We do not share your data with third-party advertisers or data brokers.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Since your data is stored locally, it is retained for as long as the App is installed on your device. Uninstalling the App will permanently delete all local records and receipts unless you have previously exported a backup.

7. Children’s Privacy

Our App does not specifically target children under 13. Since we do not collect personal information, we do not knowingly interact with children’s data.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy within the App’s “Settings” section.
